An ex parte injunction order has been passed in favor of the plaintiff by the Delhi High Court on 16th August, in respect of the infringed goods bearing the mark ‘Coldent’, alleged to be shipped in a container coming from Singapore via the vessel called KOTA TEGAP/0107W en-route to Kolkata port

It was informed by Anand and Anand that the ship was expected to reach Kolkata port on 17/08/2018. A notice was issued to the non-applicant/respondent through all modes returnable to the joint registrar on 19/08/2018. The Court directed the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs to freeze the contents of the container No BSIU9295105 and to divulge the details of the goods contained therein, details of the importer, value and number of the goods, etc. In case, the importer is found by the custom authorities, he will be restrained from taking custody of the infringed goods till the next date of hearing.
