Career highlights

In her 7 years at Anand and Anand, Abhilasha has been:

  • working closely with SEP holders in dispute resolution and negotiation.
  • part of the team that handled MBPL v. PPL, India's first compulsory license under the Copyright Act.
  • part of the team that handled India's first SEP litigation.
  • part of the team that handled Reckitt Benkiser India Ltd. v. Wyeth Ltd., a full bench decision of the Delhi High Court under the Designs Act.
  • part of the team that represents one of the largest wind turbine manufacturers in the world in its IP disputes.
  • part of the team that works for protecting the brand of the largest selling whisky in the world.

Abhilasha has also been a lecturer at National Law University, Delhi. She is a regular contributor to the Australian Journal of Competition

and Consumer Law and is the co-author of the India Chapter in The Patent Litigation Law Review, 2017.
