India Ahead- Leading the New Age Economic Laws Summit & Achiever’s Awards 2019, an event led by Bithika Anand, Founder & CEO of Legal League Consulting, was held on 23rd August at Taj Mansingh, New Delhi.

The initiative focused on driving ‘Innovation, Investment and Impact’ through a robust law infrastructure in the new age Indian Economy while discussing the sectors that have contributed to the growth.

Pravin Anand was invited as a speaker at the opening of the Summit and an inaugural session on ‘India’s emergence as world economic power’. He shared his vision and insights on the role that Intellectual Property can play in fuelling and empowering innovations, driving investment and creating the desired impact along with Mr. Ajay Bahl, Co-Founder and Managing Partner, AZB & Partners, the other key panelist.  Pravin Anand was also felicitated as a ‘Distinguished speaker’ for the event. Hon’ble Justice Dipak Misra, Former Chief Justice of India was the  Chief Guest, while other luminaries included Ms. Bina Modi, Board Director, Godfrey Philips India Limited as the Guest of Honour and Dr. Lalit Bhasin, President of SILF and President of Bar Association of India as the Summit Chairman.

Further, in his pursuit of successfully integrating businesses with law, Safir Anand achieved another milestone: The Award for “Sterling Performance in Business and Law”. Safir Anand was felicitated by Former Chief Justice of India, Hon’ble Justice Dipak Misra and the President of SILF and the Bar Association of India, Dr. Lalit Bhasin at the Summit. In addition to our core role of protecting and enforcing Intellectual Property, we have also been proffering advice to leading Indian businesses on scaling up by leveraging the power of IPR. The award bears testimony to the fact that IP can catapult a business onto the path of unprecedented success.
