“As India continues to emerge as a driving force in the global marketplace”, the International Trademark Association (INTA) conducted its first-ever Indian Annual Meet (Board Meeting) on 23 September 2019. The Annual Meet was followed by a Workshop on “Made in India: Evolving Trends in Brand Protection” on 25 September 2019 in New Delhi.

We are pleased to share that M.S Bharath conducted the Workshop where panellists discussed evolving trends in India’s trademark and brand protection landscape including trends in litigation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), non-traditional marks and the importance of a centralized coordinating agency like the national IPR Center.
