Asia IP Magazine, In its recent feature, “Law firms in APAC Pitch in to Help Address Problems Caused by COVID19”, sought views of law firm leaders across Asia, including our Senior Partner, Safir Anand, on contributions they are making to global efforts in containing the novel coronavirus Covid-19 and helping the affected sectors.

Safir highlighted a few of the many CSR initiatives in which our firm has participated. One of these is a COVID-19 Fund for the benefit of designers and wage earners in the fashion industry where Safir has been involved with the Fashion Design Council of India in setting up the fund.

Another initiative involves interactions through the Federation Of Indian Chambers Of Commerce And Industry (FICCI) to brainstorm on ways to safeguard the interests of the artist community. Meanwhile, an initiative by Teamwork Arts involves providing performers with a digital platform for their performances. Anand and Anand has been working with Teamwork Arts to build the festival across borders, including the need to take literature overseas.
