Prime Minister Narendra Modi expresses satisfaction that global agrobiodiversity protection efforts have started in India with the 1st International Agrobiodiversity Congress (IAC 2016) convened at Delhi, at which Anand and Anand is the knowledge partner.

Anand and Anand had co-organised the Access and Benefit Sharing (ABS) – Striking the Right Balance seminar with IAC 2016 amalgamating ideas from legal and agrobiodiversity experts for a sustainable jurisprudence in the field, and discussing the PPVFRA.

IAC 2016’s Access and Benefit Sharing panel also recommended recognising the worth of biological diversity.
