Members from Anand and Anand and the art community congregated to combine the intellectual powers and activism of the members of the art world as well as the legal fraternity to build a more reliable and consistent system.

Held at the National Museum, the Art and Law conference was an opportunity for stakeholders to understand the challenges faced by the art world today and how to combat them.

The Conference addressed a few of the fundamental legal issues faced by stakeholders in the world of the Arts including understanding copyright versus ownership in works of art or the importance of due diligence and contracts in art transactions or simply demystifying how art is valued.
