The Delhi High Court, in a recent order granted an ad-interim injunction restraining the defendants from using the plaintiff’s VOLVO trademark as part of their website, domain name, email address, and trade name, and issued directions to temporarily suspend the impugned domain names.

The efforts of Team Anand and Anand comprising Ms. Vaishali Mittal and Ms. Devyani Nath resulted in this order which further strengthens the faith of brand owners in India’s trademark protection regime.
