On its steadfast route of spreading awareness on IP Enforcement, this time CIPAM (Cell for IPR Promotion & Management), DPIIT, Government of India took the initiative all the way to the Himalayan mountain regions of the country by organizing a “Workshop on Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights” at Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy, Udhampur, Jammu & Kashmir, on 19 and 20 June, 2019. Devesh Ratan was invited to speak at the Workshop on “Investigation & Prosecution of IP Crimes and IPR Enforcement Toolkit for Police”. He discussed the practical difficulties faced by police officials relating to IPR matters and its underlying solutions.

The Workshop was attended by the Deputy SPs and the Prosecuting Officers of the J&K Police.
