Copyright applies to original artistic or literary work and the publishing industry works in producing such work. Needless to say, the publishing industry works/should work in tandem with copyright laws.

The World Book and Copyright Day was celebrated on the 23rd of April 2019. Pravin Anand and Dhruv Anand participated in a panel discussion on the “Pressing Issue of Copyright, Publishing and Fair Use” along with other panellists at the ‘Copyright Dialogue’ organised by the German Book Office and IRRO in cooperation with the German Embassy in New Delhi. Issues relating to copyright and publishing ethics were discussed in detail at the event.
