We are proud to announce that Swati Sharma and Twinky Rampal, partners at Anand and Anand have been recognized as “Star Woman Lawyer of the Year” at the 3rd Annual Legal Era Women in Law Excellence Awards 2021.

With a rich and diverse experience of over 14 years, in Intellectual Property prosecution and contentious, advisory, privacy and internet and laws, mergers and acquisition, advertisement laws, contractual and commercial laws, Swati is a valued member of the firm’s trademark team.

 She has actively worked with various organizations and governmental bodies and has been instrumental in the growth of IP Jurisprudence in India. She was an active member of a working group constituted for making suggestions to the Trademarks Amendment Rules, 2017. She has also played a significant role INTA’s Unreal campaign aimed at creating awareness and educating students internationally on counterfeiting issues

 A Partner at Anand and Anand, Twinky has over 13 years of experience in handling clients spanning diverse sectors. She is a part of the strategic initiatives team and specializes in providing tactical advice on handling global trademark portfolios, advising on brand guides, providing advice on brand adoption, monetization, protection, and enforcement, drafting and negotiating various contracts, advising on various commercial transactions, advertising law, and related disputes. Her most recent assignment involved working on the IPO of a leading hospitality chain, where the value of the transaction was worth INR 1000 crores.

This award recognizes the leadership, innovation, and achievements of Women Lawyers across India.
