Anand and Anand was Embibe’s chief IP advisor on the acquisition of Embibe’s Intellectual Property by Reliance which is said to be one of the biggest transactions (USD 180 Million) in the Indian education and AI, deep technology space.

Our team, comprising of Vaishali Mittal, Siddhant Chamola, Mrinali Menon and Vrinda Gambhir worked very closely with AZB, Shardul Amarchand, KPMG, Arpwood Capital, Reliance’s legal team along with Covington to tie many strands of a complex transaction.

The task involved an extensive amount of due diligence in profiling the extent of intangible assets that Embibe had, the scalability of its technology and the formulation of core policies to ensure that they comply with a multitude of legal regulations not only in India but also those with international best practices.
