Neeti Wilson speaks on ‘Patents, Innovation and Access to New Pharmaceuticals’ at the National Conference on IPR in Health Sciences organised by Amity University.

The two day conference, attended by over 150 participants, brought together speakers from the legal fraternity, government, and luminaries from the scientific community and academia.

Neeti spoke about the International System of Patenting and Indian patent law, with a focus on Section 3(d) of the Patents Act 1970.

In addition to talks on pharmaceutical patents and the role of regulation in health sciences, the conference envisaged discussion on topics ranging widely from IP in traditional medicine to patenting of cutting-edge medical developments such as regenerative medicines and stem cell research.neeti wilson amity university national conference ipr health sciences
