Dr. Neeti Wilson heads the Biotechnology and Bioresources and Life Sciences practice at Anand and Anand. She specializes in biotechnology patents, biodiversity law, pharmaceutical and life sciences IP, bioresources regulation, traditional knowledge protection, and traditional cultural expressions.
She advises Indian and international clients on patent prosecution, oppositions, IP strategy, licensing, and commercialization relating to biologics, biosimilars, molecular biology, microbiology, agricultural biotechnology, nutraceuticals, and healthcare innovations.
Dr. Wilson is particularly recognized for her expertise in matters involving the Biological Diversity Act, access and benefit sharing (ABS), National Biodiversity Authority approvals, Nagoya Protocol compliance, plant variety protection, and biodiversity-related patent compliance.
Her interests include the intersection of intellectual property, biodiversity, indigenous innovation, cultural heritage, traditional knowledge systems, and protection of traditional cultural expressions.
