The Trademark and Contractual Law Team at Anand & Anand underwent a massive expansion in the last 4 months. As many as 60 years of experience was added through a diligent search, selection and recruitment process as the Firm enhanced the number of Lawyers working in the Team.
Some of the new joinees include:
i) Ms. Gowri Tirumurti who comes with 12 years experience having worked with international law firms. She would be advising on practice in the SAARC region as also assisting in the India trademark portfolio.
ii) Ms. Miloosha Sharma who comes with over 12 years experience. She was a Senior Associate in K & S Partners and joined from 6th September 2018. She would be looking after trademark prosecution and oppositions.
iii) Ms. Shraddha Sharma, joins Anand and Anand with about 6 years of experience in IP, is responsible for handling trade mark matters of domestic as well as international clients. Her role is more focused on clients in automobile industry.
iv) Ms. Vaishali Sharma who joined from 10th September 2018 with around 6 years experience in trademark oppositions and prosecution. Vaishali also has significant experience in pharma.
v) Ms. Shubhi Ameriya, who apart from being a Lawyer is also a Company Secretary, joined the corporate law practice.
Commenting upon the new addition, Mr. Safir Anand, Head of the Trademarks, stated “There is a concerted effort to increase the experience level and Diversity in the Department and Corporate Law Practice”
The additions on the corporate side are to continue as the Firm embraces and strengthen its Pharma and Corporate Practice.
