“In today’s globally competitive environment, intellectual property has placed itself on a pedestal in the context of economic growth and is becoming increasingly important. Intellectual Property (IP) is the fuel that powers the engine of prosperity, fostering invention and innovation.”

The Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) organised the National IPR Summit in association with Intellectual Property Office under the aegis of Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India which was held on 21 June 2019 in New Delhi. We are glad to share that Pravin Anand and Archana Shanker were the speakers at the Summit.

Pravin Anand delivered a special address on “Strengthening of IP Laws for Robust IP Ecosystem” followed by another address on ‘Protecting your Intellectual Property’ in the light of “IP rights that have become crucial in the face of changing trade environment…”

Archana Shanker moderated a Panel on ‘Planning an effective IP portfolio for business growth & Excellence’ focusing on the need of IPR for every business which invests huge sums in R&D for creating indigenous products and service. The Panel comprised of Amit Banasal, Anoop Jain, Khyati Amlani and Roma Arora.
