We are extremely elated to share that Managing Partner Pravin Anand has won the International Trademark Association (INTA) 2021 President’s Award which recognises four decades of his tireless advocacy for ethical protection of IPR, and his distinctive craft, both in and outside the court, to advance INTA’s mission, i.e. supporting trademarks and related intellectual property (IP) to foster consumer trust, economic growth, and innovation, in right earnest.

Besides the award, INTA also honoured him with the epithet of “an IP Trailblazer” who extended a one-room law firm to a successful organisation we are a part of today.

This honour also speaks for his dedicated service to INTA where he served on various committees and on the Board of Directors from 2006 to 2008.

Mr Anand’s work like Ferid Allani, Philips v Amazestore, Christian Louboutin Red Sole case and the more recent Tommy Hilfiger matter, his mentorship and pro bono engagements, as rightly mentioned at the ceremony this evening, has impacted IP jurisprudence in India and worldwide.

We invite you to take a look at a snippet from the award ceremony honouring Mr Anand for “serving as an inspiration to the entire IP community” and for creating a “legacy”.

A big congratulations to Mr Anand and thanks to INTA, our clients and the Anand and Anand family.
